25 Days of Christmas – White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge
The holiday season is filled with candy canes! Here’s one way you can use candy canes. Try this simple recipe with just three ingredients.
12 ounce of white chocolate
10 ounce of condensed milk
crushed candy canes
Crush two separate bags of candy canes. One really crushed almost powdery and the other just into small pieces while keeping that red stripe in some of the pieces.
Melt the chocolate over boiled water in a sauce pan. Never melt chocolate directly from fire. Add the condensed milk about 3/4 of the can. The mix the really crushed candy canes into the melted chocolate. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
Prepare the molds or baking pan. This silicone mold worked great, the chocolate didn’t get stuck in the mold. You can also use a baking pan but make sure you spray with cooking oil or butter so the fudge does not stick.
Place some of the larger crushed pieces in the mold. Then pour the chocolate mixture in the mold.
Refrigerate for about two hours and when the fudge is hard enough, you can pop the pieces out of the mold.
Very simple treat to make for the holiday.
